Your data
This notice explains what Christ Embassy Barnet does with personal information collected through christembassybarnet.org, and what this website stores on your device.
Who we are
Christ Embassy Barnet is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@christembassybarnet.org or on +44 208 129 1133.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form and choose to send us. On the contact form that is your name, email address, subject and message. On the e-book form it is your name, mobile number and email address.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use what you send to reply to you, and to send the e-book where you have asked for it. Our lawful basis is consent: you decide whether to fill the form in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will.
Cookies and third party services
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it does not use analytics.
Some parts of the site do load content from other companies:
- Google Maps on the contact page. The map is not loaded until you select “Load the map”. Choosing to load it shares your IP address with Google and allows Google to set cookies on your device. If you would rather not, the address is written out in full beside the map.
- Links to other websites. Our footer links to other ministry sites and to social media. Those sites have their own privacy notices, and this one does not cover them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- ask us to delete it
- withdraw your consent at any time
- complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office
To exercise any of these, email info@christembassybarnet.org. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab).
